KRXQ / 98 Rock is now accepting applications from Sacramento area students for the Summer Semester of the 98 Rock Internship Program (May 2008 – August 2008).
If you are working toward an Associates or Bachelors Degree and want to get some experience working in the communications field, a 98 Rock Internship is an opportunity you should not pass up. If you are a student at Sac State, UC Davis, Sierra, Consumnes, Sac City, ARC, Folsom Lake College or another school, this can give your transcripts and résumé the real life work experience you'll need after college.
The only "pay" you'll receive is school credit, but you will get to work side by side with all of us down at the station while getting a feel for what it’s like inside the world of radio.
So whether you are interested in promotions, sales, production, or in becoming the next Rob, Arnie, or Dawn, consider an internship with 98 Rock. It is a great way to get your foot in the door, shake some hands, make a good impression, add some bulk to your résumé, and get a feel for what a career in radio is REALLY like!
If you're thinking about pursuing an internship with 98 Rock
email your cover letter and résumé to 98 Rock Promotions Director John Boyle (
jboyle@entercom.com) to apply.
